I love to start the day without knowing where it will end. I just trust in the unknown...trust that I will always find a safe place for the night...might be a place to pitch the tent, a simple room, a church, a school or whatever. Today I had a very late lunch in Mbale...I cycled out of the city after 4:30 pm, which is definitely too late to make it to Sipi Falls as they are more then 50km away uphill (and I had already pedaled 70km by that moment)...I thought whatever...baught two Rolex (this is how the locals call a roll made of chapati bread and omelette😊) as food supply for the evening and morning... maybe this will be my first camping out there in the wild...I thought. In the end I was lucky again...I cycled through a beautiful landscape with a nice evening view on mount Elgon...a slow lorry passed me and I was able to hook on to it for some nice lorry surfing with 50 to 60 km/h (don't try this at home kids 😁)...and just before the sun went down bumbed into this simple and cheap guesthouse with very friendly staff. I cycled about 100km today and I'm just 25km away from the Sipi Falls... looking forward to reach them tomorrow morning. Now enjoying a Nile Special beer under the mosquito net...good night 😉 #uganda #cyclinglife #cyclinguganda #vpacebikes #t2st #titaniumbikes #nevernotriding #neverstopexploring #adventureisoutthere #adventurelifestyle #bikepackinglife #bikepacking #ortlieb_waterproof #tubus #keeponexploring #intothewild #outsideisfree #fastandlight #thebeautyofcycling #velosophics #adventurecycling #biketouring #packlighttravelfar #dropbarbikes #placeforthenight #bedroom (hier: Sironko District) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnErlDUBwth/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1tj6rpmfsx3e9
