i had a nightmare last night where i was rushing my WIPs so badly that i swapped details here and there and the characters got pissed at me. 😭

pete: "who the hell is connor?"

jupiter: "the android from cyberlife."

pete: "huh??"

detroit pd, michigan. 2039.

gavin: /sees a typewriter on his desk/ "why the fuck is this here?"

connor: "ah, that's where bob andrews' typewriter went."

gavin: "who the fuck is bob andrews?"

and then hank suddenly arrested me(??)

hank: "ma'am, you have violated the moral code of hammurabi."

me: "what does that have to do with this?? you're not even reading my rights???"

gavin: /suddenly appeared and played with his handcuffs/ "you're not even american, dipshit."

me: "i still have human rights???"

then we got transported to a beach(?) and bob took pictures and tried to interview me while the other characters were looking smug(???)

then i woke up. 😭😭😭

dual fandom thoughts

kinda amusing to me that

the horror stories i've written for gavin are all pretty serious so far

the gear-shifting between writing for these two fandoms has been sooo challenging and yet sooo fun. trying my best to be consistent with their canon characterisations while conjuring original ideas.

having to reset my brain each time between 2030s detroit michigan vs 1960s rocky beach california is soooo ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) but also (˵ ͠ಥ‿ ͠ಥ˵).

mind you i'm not american and english is not my first language so it's an extra layer. but i enjoy learning something new every time.

i love writing. on this day i'm thankful for the written word. and for the existence of fanfiction. and tumblr writing challenges.
