T3NGU joins the Hope and Bass Family
What's up everyone? We have another new artist joining the Hope and Bass family. Coming from Lansing, Michigan TENGU is our newest affiliate. I really enjoy his demos and look forward to his mixes and releases in the future. Get to know TENGU now below and check his tracks out. T3NGU is the moniker used by 20 year old Lansing, MI based producer Blake Gibbs. For him creating music is a cathartic experience. Blake has played multiple instruments throughout his life and continues to play the bass in a local jam band The Winebox Mothers. Influenced by artists both famous and obscure, his sound combines elements of ambient, shoe gaze, progressive house, downtempo, experimental, and IDM. He delicately incorporates organic samples and subtle progressions. The result is an atmospheric and spacey texture. He describes it simply as “headphone music”
