We went drinking here the other night. Totes amaze. We got the feeling you get when you're in the most amazing place you feel overwhelmed...Zara cried. Everyone congregates here to drink, listening to music and eat street food. I've never felt an atmosphere like it. The people here in Hanoi are great, so friendly and hugely sociable. Noone's getting really drunk and there are no English stag dos. They don't sit playing computer games at home etc. 

The reality of what we're doing is really hitting home and it's a better feeling than you could ever expect. The guide books say you'll only want to be in Hanoi for a night but we've been here 4 nights now and I love it. Halong Bay soon though and that will be ACE! Done so much in 6 days it's hard to remember and I don't have time to write it down! Happy Happy Happy.
