Cass and Taavetti!
Thought i’d try and do a comparison of the two- They’re kind of the protags of the story i’m eventually going to actually put down in writing.
Tav’s about average for a harpy- Cass is somewhat short and way, way more “built” than a normal harpy, thighs notwithstanding. Most harpy women are taller than Taavetti and they also are as a rule nearly flat- that’s the most standout thing about Cass as far as harpies are concerned. To a human it’d be the casque and the obvious bare patches, but harpies have their priorities straight, know what I mean?
That being said, she’s going to have a very rough time in the mountains. Probably also on the open road. Hotter, drier places as well, come to think of it. Almost like the dalmatica thing she wears is only really practical in subtropical rainforests or something. Hum. May or may not be a plot point.
(also first non lewd that has more than one character in it. Woo!)
Taavetti!
Peacock harpy this time!
Taavetti is another teacher type at Stracrok as well. While he is capable of teaching he prefers to faff around the world looking for magically inclined weirdos and bringing them back to Stracrock to be properly trained.
While by this point in society people with magical tendencies aren’t hunted down there are certain places where it’d be good to get them out before it becomes an issue, whether that’s a bad community or just a plain bad situation.
He mostly uses it as an excuse to wander the countryside looking for interesting things.
