Yellow: 7 facts about my childhood

1. I was very tanned as a child. Can you believe it? I was super tanned. Seriously.

2. I spent a lot of my time at my grandmother’s place with my cousin and best friend who is absolutely fabulous and I know she is reading this right now so shoutout to the best cousin in the world. Also Jako is cool too but he’ll never know.

3. I had a cat for most of my childhood, a Siamese called Viki. He was great.

4. I loved playing outside with my friends, my best friend back then was a neighbour girl. I just see her Facebook posts sometimes nowadays, but mostly don’t know anything about her.

5. I did very well at school. I didn’t study but still had good grades.

6. I started singing at a very early age, playing the piano followed shortly after.

7. I was also obsessed with horses and horseriding.

HIBISCUS:Did you ever play an instrument? If so what? - When I was like 6 I was a pro at accordion. I also home-learned a flute and I actually went to music school and played the piano.

POPPY:What color was your childhood home? - Orange and white

RHODODENDRON:What's the scariest dream you've ever had?- When my grand-grandmother had just died, I dreamt I was alone outside our house in the dark and everything was quiet and my parents' car was gone and my dog was nowhere and then I looked up through my window and saw my grand-grandmother sitting on my bed in a ghostly halo. God damn I still get creeped out by it..

ASTER:Would you rather be cold or hot? - Mmm.. depends. I'd rather be neither :D If I was too hot though, I'd take a cold shower and probably have an icecream cocktail. Besides, who wouldn't want to be 'hot' ? :D So yeah. Hot. Being cold only rocks when you finally get home and snuggle up in bed. Or when someone cuddles you. :D

CARNELIAN:Tell us a story about when you were strong. - Hmm. I have had to be strong so many times it gets a little difficult to pick out just one story. But if I have to choose, I'll probably pick the one that influenced me the most. During high school, I didn't have many friends and I got backstabbed by several people. There were rumours about me and a lot of gossiping and finger-pointing, and I still don't get why. It didn't even break me, it completely shattered me. But I somehow stood up, picked my pieces, glued myself back together, and here I am. I am more me than I've ever been and I'm not intending to lose myself again. ;)KUNZITE:What grounds you? - Mariann (loremarie) mostly. Also, I am pretty good at grounding myself. PETALITE:List the steps of an ordinary day of yours. - Wake up, turn the alarm off, wake up again 2 hours later, turn on the laptop, chill, go to uni, Tumblr, pretend to study on Tumblr, come back home, laptop.. :D Sleep. freddy kreuger: what is one of your worst nightmares? - mmm... probably ending up as the last human on Earth. also, seeing my family murdered. frankenstein’s monster: when you fall apart, what pulls you back together? - I do. :) I spend time with my friends drinking, forgetting, desperately trying to move on, I tell them things and they support me. My mum is an amazing listener and gives the best advice.. but at the end of the day, I have to decide to want to feel better. Well, first of all I grew up on an island so I was surrounded by water. They don't have to be afraid of being hunted by other birds and they are strong and majestic. :D I would just fly to each of my destinations.dracula: are you afraid of aging? or death? - I am, actually. Dear future me

Dear future me,

I am already proud of who you’re going to be. The steps I’m taking and the decisions I’m making are beautiful and make me stand stronger than ever. :) Also, don’t forget what got you here and be thankful for every experience because all of that, good or bad, shaped you into who you are now. And that person is more confident and braver than ever. Also, good luck with all that job searching, you little shit. I love you!
