Help! I got a new laptop and my tablet(Win7 64bit; Adesso CyberTablet) doesn't work right. As soon as the pen touches the pad, the cursor either shakes in one place or jumps everywhere on screen. I've tried as many methods I could find but Google doesn't turn up many tablet-specific results, so maybe if I reach out here someone might have advice that can help? Thank you in advanced. ;-;
I don’t know for sure, but I think your issue may be driver related. Reading through some of the [reviews on Amazon], I’m seeing that people are not very happy with adesso; their drivers are out dated, and their tech support is lousy.
Though, one user commented:
After countless hours of searching I discovered that the drivers for the “HyperPen 5000” found at aiptek.com, work perfectly.
You could try experimenting with [Aiptek drivers] to see if one of them fixes your problem.
But honestly, this is unacceptable; the manufacture should be supporting their own products. If it’s a brand new tablet, and you can’t get the drivers working, you really ought to give the manufacturer a shout.
I have a Cintiq Companion, it's a tablet which has been suped up. It runs on Windows 8.1 and basically does all that a desktop can do. It has Wifi, a camera, has everything a desktop does. Mine is 256G but there's also 512G. Intel Core i7 processor, HD resolution 1920x1080, comes with a stylus tho the classic stylus works with it. It has 6 hrs of battery, a Bluetooth. Can use usb mouse & kb or Bluetooth. More info is on Wacom's site. :)

Hi! I just wanted to touch on the subject of tablets because I’ve had a good variety of them. My favorite has been my new Wacom Intros Pro Medium (newest model), but my old stand-by was a Wacom Bamboo Fun. They are an old model and outdated but I loved them and they’re a great entry-level Wacom that you can find used for $40-60 on eBay and sometimes Amazon. Aside from Wacom, though, the Monoprice, Ugee, and Huion brands are fantastic. I’ve had tablets from both and the only issues I’ve encountered have been the drivers. They can be a PAIN to get to work correctly and I’ve found that downloading and installing the Wacom drivers sometimes helps or sometimes make it worse. Just remember that when purchasing a tablet; always Google reviews. I usually buy from Amazon and read the reviews there. Anywho, my favorite non-Wacom was my Ugee that I got from Amazon here: http://www.amazon.com/Ugee-M708-Digital-Drawing-Graphics/dp/B00VUHQECU/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1448900545&sr=8-3&keywords=ugee Hope I might have helped someone. xD (I’m still new to the site, so please feel free to copy and paste this if I did it wrong.. No need for credits or anything. :)) — kijonaia
If you're brave to try off-brand tablets, you can try Huion. I have one myself: (Huion 8'' x 5'' Graphic Drawing Tablet with Pen Pressure of 2048) and mannn, I'm not going back to Wacom, unless I'm made of money. It can be a bit of pain to set up depending on your computer, but it's a smooth sailing from there. And, I do advise you to be careful with the tablet slot, it's pretty fragile. Beside from those, for a low price, it's a pretty great tablet!

I saw his hand with a circle cig burnt; the very symbol of him being a forever fratman. My heart is breaking.
Three Top Waterproof Cases for Smartphones and Tablets
No smartphone or tablet computer should be used without proper protection. After shelling out hundreds of dollars for an iPhone, iPad or similar item, the last thing a user wants is for one klutzy move to lead to a ruined device. Besides basic protection against everyday drops and bumps, some smartphone and tablet owners may want an increased level of protection against water. From moms and dads who want to take underwater pictures of junior to lifeguards who need to prepare their phone for anything, waterproof cell phone cases take cell phone and tablet protection to a whole new level. Here’s a review of three top brands to consider when purchasing a waterproof smartphone cover.
Krusell SEaLABox
Krusell makes a number of smartphone and tablet cases, both waterproof and non-waterproof. The Krusell SEaLABox is the company's line of waterproof cases for smartphones. Their cases fit a number of top smartphone brands, including the iPhone, Droid, Galaxy and others. All the waterproof cases come with a neck strap for convenient carrying and protect against water to approximately one meter deep.
iOttie Waterproof Skin
The iOttie waterproof skin is less of a waterproof case than a thin, silicon waterproof skin. Think of it as a small Speedo for an iPhone. The iOttie allows the phone to maintain full touch-screen capability, enabling the user to take pictures underwater, text their friends while swimming and so forth. iOttie also makes waterproof screens for the iPhone and the iPad. Although these screens do not provide the same level of protection as the skin that wraps all the way around the device, they will at least protect the iPhone or iPad’s screen from spilled glasses of coffee or tea.
LifeProof Waterproof Case
These LifeProof waterproof cases for the iPhone and iPad are the best of the three waterproof cases listed here. Although they are more expensive than the cases mentioned above, they are worth every penny for the serious user. The LifeProof case is perfect for anyone who puts his or her iPhone through serious rigors. Triathletes, military professionals, shark fighters and scuba divers will all appreciate the LifeProof case. Despite its toughness, the LifeProof cases, like the other two cases mentioned above, can still be easily used while in or under the water. These three brands of waterproof cases for the iPhone and other mobile devices all provide water protection at different levels. The first case mentioned, the Krusell SEaLABox, is an affordable case that fits most smartphones and protects against drops as well as water. The second case, the iOttie waterproof skin, does not provide deep levels of shock absorption.
In other words, users may have to switch out their phone from the iOttie to another cell phone case as they use their phone in and out of the water. The third case, the LifeProof case, is ideal for serious users who want both waterproof protection and protection from other hazards. However, unlike the Krusell case, the LifeProof case only fits the iPhone and iPad. Understanding these different options, choose the case that best fits your own needs and wishes. All of them offer solid protection for different circumstances.
