#tablet trouble

Well, I feel a little better about my tablet situation. It turns out that no, I don’t suddenly suck at drawing because yes, the software was hamstringing me. Now that I’ve tried the new one, its going much MUCH better. I just need to get used to a few new quirks then I should be good to go.

It’s come to the point where I have to send my tablet for maintenance...

I’ve been going back and forth on emailing the support team for wacom, but nothing they’ve said seems to be working. Finally they say to just send it to them. I’ve given them my address, but I don’t know if I’m supposed to wait for them to give me a signal or a package to deliver it to them, or if I should just sent it to them already...

I’ve been really bummed that I haven’t been drawing and I really feel like crap... I have to wait more, and there might not be a guarantee that it’ll work I think??? Maybe they swap it if it doesn’t work? Still... being without digitally drawing for so long really sucks...

Sorry for not posting any art lately my tablets been lagging and I've just had no motivation :((( I'll try and draw some traditional art if you'd all like ahhh I feel so bad

Anyone have advice for an overheating Cintiq Companion tablet? It’s good for short bursts, but it keeps shutting down if I’m working on anything that actually requires some processing power.

parblo you have failed me. 

I recently bought a monitor based drawing tablet, and it is not compatible with my pc for some reason. I downloaded everything correctly (it didn’t come with a disc so I had to get the driver off the support site) and it worked at first, but then I opened Paint SAI (my main program used) and it keeps lagging just so much. I’m getting serverly pissed and I might just throw the thing before I return it.

if anyone has some tips for me, please let me know because i’m getting desperate and numb from it all

OOC: Tablet help?

So, I finally stopped being a lazybones long enough to install and test out my tablet on this laptop (this laptop is fairly new) but I am stuck with a problem that I have faced before and have never been able to solve:

It disconnects constantly, even though everything’s plugged in. 

I haven’t tried it much yet but on my old computer it affected the pressure of the lines drawn as well (as in, the pressure sensitivity wouldn’t always work) The tablet seems to only work when the cord is at a certain angle near the tablet itself so it makes me believe that it’s probably just a cord issue, but last time me and my dad went to best buy about this, the guy told me it might be a software issue. And I am really not too good at this stuff.

The tablet is a medium Wacom intuos 5, so if anyone has any advice, or any idea of what this is/how to fix it, please let me know! I’m tired of drawing sketches digitally using my finger on the touch screen.

( For christmas, i got a wacom intuos draw, it worked fine the first day after i’d installed the drive, but now i’ve run into a few issues with it in paint tool sai

A. the sensitivity doesn’t want to work

B. I have to press really hard to get any lines out of the pen?? it works just fine with other things like internet and such. But it’s jut this.

any ideas why?

I need help! I just got a new Asus laptop and I am trying to install my tablet. I don't have the disc for it, but the drivers that came with the disc were outdated and I had to go to www.vistablet.net but it's suspended. I need the most up to date driver and I can't find it anywhere on the internet. If there is anyone out there who can help pleeaaase contact me!
