a) are you all okay up there b) if I *did* go to the US, what are...idk, the top five cities or places to visit. c) Japan is very, very tempting: cheapass flights at pretty much any given time, pretty places to visit and let’s be real: nerd heaven.
Event cinemas updated their details for their Sailor Moon screening on April 5th, so check it out (already bought my ticket XD)
INDEED THEY DID, and I’ve already booked my ticket to see it in the city after work.
IT’S GOING TO BE GOOD.

It’s a wonder sometimes that the Silver Millennium didn’t have some form of revolution or civil unrest before the Earth Kingdom and Beryl came along…
Not going to lie, at least one of the other planets having some kind of failed revolution against the Silver Millennium is a fun thought to play with later.

I thought so too, tbh. I felt like there were a lot of stories we’ve seen before, not just in BM, but other shows and movies. It didn’t feel as original or thought provoking, or showing us the audience, anything new. Yeah, what we got was still well done, but it didn’t offer anything not seen before, and I do think BM is becoming a victim of its own popularity.
Yeah, pretty much all of this. None of the episodes are really staying with me like previous episodes have. I didn't spend any time after any episode turning thoughts over, thinking about how I felt about it.
It's the first season that felt almost formulaic, which I suspect is why those big 'twists' just didn't hit as hard as they should have. Or felt downright ridiculous (no, I am not over that fucking hamster). And like you said, nothing really new was introduced, either.
I know it sounds like I keep ragging on it so I want to repeat: I liked it! A lot! It's still a well done piece of TV, probably better than most movies I've seen in 2017. I enjoyed watching it in batches over the long weekend.
But I'm also remembering why I respect those producers who can look at a series and go 'you know, we're in a pretty good spot here. let's end this', before the show peters out.

SAME. Curse consumerism and shiny things XD
the only way I can balance this out is buy only new games in the Boxing Day sales, and no new dresses. Or something. WHY CAN'T I HAVE ALL THE SHINY NEW THINGS.
If I don’t say yes to this it means I have to admit to myself that I wasted hours and hours hatching fictional digital eggs to get an owl that’s a slight different colour. ....okay, fine. I LOVE MY GREEN TINY GRASS OWL.
@tabuneko re: your tags on the Uluru post....same? I thought climbing on Uluru was already banned and had been for years - at the very least, I had it in my head that ‘you don’t fucking climb Uluru, it’s a sacred site and so go and get your climbing jollies somewhere else’. I guess it was maybe discouraged rather than the official ban that’s now being implemented?
Bonus: it made Bolt cranky. Always a good time.
