i don’t really get why people complain about flynn rider cutting rapunzel’s hair so short, because he didn’t cut it that short for no reason. he cut it to match with the brown strand she already had. a secret she trusted him with, that he remembered even as he was dying, a secret he acted on to free her. is it not a symbol of his love that he remembered something so small? is it not a symbol of her freedom that her only secret is no longer something to be ashamed of, no longer hidden in her golden locks?
I will say, extremely funny of SAMS/LAES to put a bunch of traumatized people right next door to a therapist. carme’s going to have a fucking field day handing out his business cards
saw the leak in today’s stream, but to be honest, what if that was…on purpose?
think about it, why would that be an opened tab at all in the first place? during a livestream no less??
this whole arc has been about mind games, about who tyrant really is, and listen—I was lurking in the gravity falls fandom back when the fiddleford ‘leak’ happened. what’s to say this isn’t another red herring?
I could also be wrong, and maybe that was genuinely a real leak, but I guess we’ll see as the show progresses
everyone saying “oh it’s just pocket change for the company this is literally not going to effect their profit” in regards to the tree law situation and the potential upcoming fines, you do not understand these companies. they won’t even spare a few extra pennies for their writers and actors. yes, they are absolutely going to care about having to shill out thousands of dollars in fines PLUS whatever other stuff comes out of this. rich people love their money, even when the loss is minimal to them.
saw the early access showing yesterday and LOVED the movie, had a lot of thoughts about it, but there's been a specific train of thought that's been rotating in my head for hours now
ngl I understand why megatron and the decepticons want to burn everything down, because if you really think about it, so much of society could be complicit in sentinel's Big Lie
like not just the fact that energon is getting sent secretly to the surface and under the cover of being "radioactive waste", but the fact that a whole caste of cybertronians have their t-cogs taken from them at birth and have no choice but to be miners/waste management.
how many people are involved in this cover-up? how many of them know the truth, but think things are better this way so that the quints don't fully invade cybertron?
information about the surface is stored away in archives and no one is allowed to access them. miners only get breaks if the government mandates it. energon mining is dangerous enough that there's protocols for abandoning an unstable shaft, EVEN IF IT MEANS ABADONING THE INJURED. energon is enough of a scarcity that orion basically steals some at the start of the movie. miners sleep standing up at charging stations and have to live in worker camps.
no one went looking for the cybertronian high guard
iacon is shiny and pretty and beautiful, but maybe it's just as rotten as sentinel is
