Tacara has the gift of healing others with her own hands thanks to her gift's connection to water. She can heal anyone and almost any injury, though larger ones do tend to take a little time and drain her energy more. Another disadvantage to her healing ability is that it is more difficult for her to heal herself than another person. She can do it, but it is challenging for her to pinpoint the exact location of the wound in her mind and direct her healing energy in her own body towards it.
Another little talent she has thanks to her healing gifts is that if she is able to focus hard enough, she can "reverse out" her gifts in fights. Using her bare hands, she can cut her enemy's skin as deep as to the bone. Tacara is rarely able to do this, as it usually only works when she's incredibly angry and seeing red in a fight.
She has also figured out that her gift in hydrokinesis means she can manipulate anything as long as there is water in it –– i.e., humans. The human body is made up of 70% water, and Tacara had wondered at one point, "Could I control that?" It was weird at first, and during the year of peace, she had met someone ––a fellow employee at the diner named Marcus –– whom she trusted to share her secret about her gifts and use as a volunteer test subject for this experiment. They would sneak out at least three nights a week and find a secluded area in the park woods area, and Tacara would do her best to try and control Marcus' body. It wasn't until the third night that she managed to discover that connection and latch onto it, and then Marcus was her little human puppet.
It only lasted a few moments, however, because this ability –– something she has named "blood-bending" –– took a lot out of her, and she was on the ground, light-headed and gasping for breath after merely a minute of controlling Marcus. It was a gift far beyond her skill levels, but that didn't stop her from the constant training to become better and stronger to get this ability down under her belt. Tacara has discovered that it is much easier to blood-bend when her powers over water are strongest during the full moon, although now she can manipulate a person with her blood-bending for up to five minutes at most without nearly fainting.
