There's something fascinating about figuring out how two different characters can end up together; from the drawing perspective, it's always interesting to analyze how the body language and face expressions work in different situations. So far, drawing couples contributed the most to my drawing progress in drawing people; I feel much more confident about anatomy in general now.
And I like making my characters happy. For some reason, it's easier to figure out my OCs personalities etc through building the romantic story - something about seeing their reflections in others, maybe?
