The more I research art history, the more I see old masters exploring the same topics they like again and again, which helped me to realize that coming back to favorite motifs doesn't really count as being stuck in a comfort zone if I keep finding new approaches to it. Recently I'm being drawn more and more to art nouveau pattern examples books and their composition arrangements; this gave me an idea to try to treat my own sketches as "tiles" of sorts, pieces of puzzle I can play with to arrange a new composition. And it was indeed a good composition challenge, figuring out the balance of it all. And well, it felt good to play around with some of my fav topics & symbolism, which are: Hildegarda and Messmer but make it abstract and sensual, rooted in Hades & Persephone imagery, with Eve & The Serpent undertones, howtoshowintimacythroughabstractshapes, sprinkle it all with Ouroboros and stars. Yay

ok so basically I wanted to paint a piece commemorating Hildegarda's ending in Elden Ring main quest - Age of Stars with Ranni, but also she made an accord with Messmer to burn down Caelid, Haligtree, and anything infested with rot or frenzy. Maybe they proceed to hunt down some Greater Will offsprings as well
