(I wanted to answer this one separately ahohoh) I feel like you already know that the short answer is ‘yes’ anon, because the SPORTS thing in’t something we’ve talked about super at length publicly, really?? It’s kinda just an inside joke, but I’m gonna do the long answer because I love the SPORTS thing and I love talking about it.

OK SO the SPORTS joke came from one of our big group meet-ups for Anime Expo (2014?? 2015?? I can’t remember which one it was aaaa)! It turns out that hanging out with a bunch of people who love original characters = 24/7 OC prompts. One of the prompts we were throwing around while finding parking and walking to the convention center was: what is your character’s relationship with SPORTS?

I said that Alias is pretty ok at most sports, thinks they’re fun, doesn’t hate any of them! He’s a good team-player and a good sport about losing (though he plays to win.) At that point, Rach just kinda looks at everyone and says, “I... Dan doesn’t know anything about sports. He doesn’t get it. He thinks they’re dumb.” So, of course, that led to “Well Alias obviously has to teach his buddy pal chum amigo how to do the sports. He must educate his friend. Hilarity ensues. Dan runs around and just kicks and throws things yelling SPORTS at the top of his lungs.” “What are you doing?” “S P O R T S”

It’s a mess and a running gag and we’ve all had too many conversations about it to count, but, here’s an excerpt to help you see that Alias + Dan + Sports = idiocy

So the peerless and ever amazing @thezombiedogz / @zombiedogdoes / TacosaurusRex had a birthday~~! What better way to celebrate your 20s than with the 20s?

@calanii approached me with the idea to make something spectacular to celebrate our awesome friend’s day of birth. She did most of the legwork, with the editing and organizing! All I did was draw some stuff, haha. (Go give cal some sugar, man, she’s awesome.)
