Rate this museum from 1-10?! Visuals for He Art Museum have been released by award winning architect Tadao Ando; which is due to open this year March. The structure will be formed from a series of stacked disks, with one of the focal being the double helix spiral staircase. While the overlapping stacked disks will create the lopsided profile, the square base will host an exhibition space. He Art Museum or HEM will be a reflection of the art and culture of the Lingnan region, including Guangdong, Guangxi and Hainan. Water has been a key part of the creation of the design; as such, will have a pond next to HEM to bring a cooling effect to the façade by the water reflections.
