TADC Tomorrow amiright

But... yeah. I drew this on May 23rd, but held off on posting it because I thought I'd get time to finish it, but I never did.

TADC really means a lot to me. It's one of my favorite shows of all time, to the point where (when I was in college) I made presontations talking about it and how bright the future for indie animation and queer representation in media is becoming.

Its characters- especially my f/os, of course- also mean a lot to me. While I wouldn't say I have favorites, Caine and Jax have both been particularly close to my heart. And even when the show ends, they'll all still be with me.

I have so many more thoughts about the show and what it means to me, but I've never been the best at wording things and I don't want to make this post any longer.

Do you think Scribbly would get closer with the other humans after Caine died? Would she try to help fix the circus, and would she be good at conjuring?

Breaking this into three parts

1. Actually, it’s the opposite. She is extremely angry at them- even agreeing with Jax during his rant- and is similarly nowhere to be seen for a while. She reacted very badly to the whole thing.

2. Eventually… yes, she does. Mainly because she cares about the circus itself and staying within it. Escapism dog.

3. Extremely so! She actually picked it up before everyone else figured it out. She’s always been a lot more in tune with the circus and the cartoony abilities it grants.

(She’s always had a lot of Jax parallels)

I guess technically not about Scribbly but what do you think her evil counterpart would be like?

I’ve been trying to think about it since the episode came out but I genuinely have no idea 😭 I just can’t think of anything. It seems like the evil versions are, in some aspects, the opposite of the humans. And I can’t really think of how I’d make a bizzaro version of myself, haha

If Scribbly was a canon character she would’ve had the coolest merch… most prominently I imagine her own plushie but a scarf as well

3. Does your f/o have a love interest in canon? How do you navigate around that with your selfship and s/i?

Checkmates is still canon for my selfship. In fact, I’ve been considering shipping with Queenie as well, to round out the trio… I just wish we knew a little more about her.

This might change, but Scribbly is very hesitant to confess her feelings to Kinger because of the pseudo-dead wife situation. But, of course, he’s understanding and returns the feelings. That’s why he’s the best character.

I also consider Abstragedy to be canon, and, well… Zooble has two hands… four, even… maybe more….

10. What canon event your f/o was involved in would have gone differently if your s/i had been there? (positive or negative)

I simultaneously have zero and so many answers for this. It’s a little odd because I try to write Scribbly in a way that won’t majorly impact canon events. But I’m always imagining how it’d be like if she were there.

So, basically, I don't have a straight answer for this one. I'll have to rewatch the show and really think about it. I'm sorry thats boring...
