ive never heard of this build bodyswap theory it sounds cool, would u mind explaining?
ooh ok! so the concept is that katsuragi takumi, rather than being dead, actually somehow... implanted his own consciousness into another person’s body: that person being sento. the “job offer” that both sato taro & ryuga answered was actually just katsuragi trying to lure someone in in order to steal their physical form. (the “why” is still pretty up in the air atm, but i guess that’s just how it is with villainous types.)
except presumably, something went wrong in the process? and he ended up losing his memories after swapping bodies, and now he’s been without them for so long that he (now sento) has developed an entirely new personality.
this would explain how sento is an innate scientific genius, despite not showing any signs of having those skills as sato taro.
and it would explain sento’s clothes when he was first found by soichi (obviously very different from the usual faust prisoner garb), which look remarkably like the outfit katsuragi’s “corpse” was wearing in ryuga’s flashback:

remember in decade how they only ever used the exceed gills suit in world of agito? that’s because the gills suit (and i thought the another agito suit as well) were the unfortunate victims of a leak or something like that which causes pretty bad water damage and made the suits pretty much totally wasted
