the taeil situation is a real reminder that we don’t know the people we idolise. sure, we like to believe that they are the way they choose to portray themselves on camera but we must take everything you see with a grain of salt. we do not know who they are behind closed doors so we cannot jump to their defence and start blaming and accusing alleged victims or witnesses.
i think many people in the kpop community have trouble with this concept. it would do so many people good to step back from their world of delusion and happiness with no wrong-doings and go into the real world for a little while.
