Have you ever tried considering taekook not being a couple pov?They were very close,but drifted apart and became close again.They are attracted to each other.Maybe they have acted on it once or twice but realized they cannot continue due to family,job and society.They put group before themselves.

If they are a couple,then arguably their relationship is not respected by them.Yes I am talking about sexual fanservice,verbal fanservice that implies romantic or sexual trysts with other members.At the very least relationship is their second priority,after the group.In that case why even bother being in a relationship?Just for sex?I think they are not puritanical enough to reject sex outside relationship.

They are singers-songwriters and performers,not actors.It is not like they have to do it because of their job.Why would a need arise to perform fan service with other members that makes it seem like they are a couple with another member?

Although it does not completely rule out the possibility of them being a couple,it does present a reason for why them being a couple is unlikely or at the very least, toxic.
