so i just read @noransaekk's post on 2 prominent tk moments (personally i don't think they are the 2 best moments actually not even in the top 10 but we'll discuss that some other day)
now naturally each person will perceive a particular interaction between 2 people in different ways and if u're not as familiar with tk as i like to believe i am then her analysis does make sense. I mean we all know how cuddly and touchy tae is. In that 'bed scene' tae doesn't do anything uncharacteristic however jungkook is who pikes my interest. We know jungkook as an introvert though there are times he initiates contact it's still very limited since he's someone who likes his own space. now we could say it's not that big of a deal but have we ever seen jungkook do that with another member before? the simplicity of it is what gets me, it seems as if they've done it many times and they all most-likely sleep with each other but that was so unnecessary he could’ve slept anywhere else, i mean even the sofa near the window seemed more comfortable. Jungkook even when crashing in jihope's room is said to sleep on a mattress between the beds (as said by jhope himself and since i've had my share of friends sleeping on the floor between 2 singles beds in my room, i can believe it) or they push the 2 beds together. so why instead of going back to sleep with j and jhope (since there was more room there if u check and compare sizes since they were lying horizontally) would he squeeze into that small space with tae? the only reason my mind sees is it's a common occurrence, also why does tae kiss his arm? i know he does skinship with other members but isn't sleeping together in a small bed, cuddling and kissing his arm a little intimate? sure i could be wrong but that whole moment gives off such domestic vibes and demonstrates the intimacy between them. whether they're together or not we can clearly see how comfortable they are with each other,and i'm sorry but bros don't sleep facing each other in a small space with their arms around each other, even going as far as kissing their 'bros' arm. If anything it at least proves how close they are and how since day one jungkook found comfort in tae "he made me free". also lets not forget in at least 2 interview tae and jk both said they wanted to change their roommates (i don’t know whether jk had his own room then or was sharing), indicating at each other and jungkook even himself said he wants to be roommates with tae
Onto the ear kiss, i know alot of new tkers use that as proof frankly i'm not that bothered about it but it again highlights their intimacy. yes i know tae is touchy with everyone but leaning in and kissing someone on their ear (said to be a sensitive area for a lot of people) is not normal, i have yet to see tae do that with someone else, yes he backhugs the other members, dances closely with them touches them but hasn't ever initiated such an intimate act with another member from what i've seen unless it was a challenge. Also jungkook's lack of reaction shows it's a common occurrence but his shy smile and downcast look shows its impact on him. i mean he was a young boy at that time obviously the constant attention and skinship from tae would fluster him, if im right and he's atleast bisexual then maybe that could even lead to the development of confusing emotions like attraction, think about it tae was the only one always touching him, always spending time with him how could feelings not develop? and i'm talking about 2013 and 2014 the other members weren't as touchy with jungkook back then. I like to believe once tk established their relationship and jungkook became more confident he no longer had any problem initiating skin ship with other members eventhough it's limited compared to others. at the beginning whenever the other members tried to grab at him he rebuffed them, when ever jimin tried to 'kiss' him he would push him away or go rigid when the other members touched him yet he would let tae do whatever he wanted.
Again they could just be friends for all we know but these moments highlight how intimate they are and it's clear how tae helped him overcome his shell since now he isn't as hesitant in touching the other members. also if tae wanted to be 'like a hyung' he would scruff his head like jimin, rub his shoulders like the other members etc why on earth would he kiss his ear? it just doesn't make sense when u put it like that, alot of people are too caught up in dismissing these moments by simply saying tae is touchy and forget to actually think about how weird it is. personally tk reminds me of 2 young boys thrust into a hectic life who found comfort in each other and their close bond and touches could very much have led to a romantic attraction but i'll discuss their development and timeline some other time.
