Let’s analyze this iconic moment: 

Tae kisses jungkook on his cheek and he’s left kind of shocked, in the video you can see his legs bounce up and down right after tae leaves- a sign of nervousness. Then when it’s tae’s turn they decide to do a harem where he gets kissed by everyone, however all the members either kiss him on the head/hair or his hand EXCEPT jungkook who goes in for the cheek in the softest way grabbing tae’s neck and shoulder :,) Taehyung reacts by being flustered and laughing, the biggest reaction from all the kisses. Long live loving princes.

Little Taekook analysis:

Taekook went on a date 26/01/18 in a hotel in Seoul, the same day that jungkook released his cover of nothing like us and taehyung released his cover of how am i supposed to live without you last year which could possibly be their anniversary date :)

Taekook analysis because wow:

Throughout their duet I can’t help but see the lingering gazes of jungkook staring at tae so lovingly, he is usually subtle but his actions were so genuine while tae did a little bit of acting. When tae notices jk’s stare, he looks away and smiles shyly like he always does. Also there have been snippets of taekook singing this song during bon voyage and the kbs backstage cut, not to mention the lyrics of song say “it makes me think of you because it sounds like our story.”

What's your thoughts on vkook

so this took a while bc i went on a vkook research rampage;;; TYSM for asking about them ;)))) <3

i was reading bts interviews hoping to gain some insight about how they mesh – here’s why i think they work (in any way, otp/brotp):

1) we all know tae is great at socializing (he’s simply talented at starting conversations and keeping them going, no matter who he’s talking to), but he’s also incredibly spontaneous and not at all apologetic about it LOL jungkook is rly the same way, just in an introverted package. i can’t seem to find the original source rn, but vkook have said their sense of humor clicks the best and it’s obvious. like if you’re watching BTS through a telescope from the moon and see 2 members doing ridiculous body gags or cheesy, improvised skits, better bet on vkook (and imo a similar sense of humor is so important in any relationship)

2) so continuing from the above, in this golden interview full of vkook loveliness, tae mentions that when jk first entered the group he was super shy, but interacting with tae helped bring him out of his shell! (jk has said b4 that he admires tae’s liveliness.) for teenage jk, tae’s relentless energy would have made socializing comfortable and effortless. tae is never one to give up and pulling young jk out of his shell would have required some grit. tae’s also open with his emotions just like jk is, so communication is never confusing.

3) in this interview you can see the members calling tae “4D” and weird, even though he doesn’t understand why. tae is generally very positive, but having someone like jk there who absolutely gets him probably cheers him up a lot. 

4) imo both jk and tae are straightforward people (include yoongi and it’s the disobedient-line lmao). since they can both play games/joke with each other, they can naturally turn to each other to destress. tae’s optimism is a good influence on jk, who can get down after spending too much time thinking.
