For the first night in what felt for ever ( It had actually being six days ) he had managed to fall asleep, at which time of the night he did it, he wasn’t sure, what time was now that he had woken up? It didn’t mattered. His hand tiredly lifted to reach for his eyes, rubbing them a tad eagerly with his fingertips trying to get rid of the sudden sting on them as he thought if he should get out of bed or not. He decided on the former.
After having showered and changed clothes, he finally walked out of his messy bedroom, feet still lazily as they dragged across the floor, hands busying themselves on slipping his cellphone into one of the front pockets of his ripped jeans. It wasn’t until his gaze lifted that he noticed her, a woman that looked vaguely familiar, peacefully sleeping on his worn out couch, his eyes widened, thoughts rushing through his mind as he tried to remember what he had done the night before ( It wouldn’t be the first time an unknown woman had ended on his apartment on the night ) but he found himself with nothing related to her.
He was almost holding onto his breath as he squatted down, in front of the couch where she kept on sleeping, she looked peaceful even if her face was half covered by the particularly colored hair, eyebrows furrowing as the confusion only grew bigger by the second. He hesitated, but finally decided on gently tucking the strings of hair behind her ear, her face revealed completely, making his eyes widen as he finally recognized her, the woman that had fallen on him in that flower shop (and gave him a mild concussion in the process ), he felt slightly relieved, she wasn’t that much of a stranger at least, but still he wondered, what on earth could she possibly be doing there? And how did she ended here, sleeping on his couch?
“…Wake up” He muttered, not sure as for why was he feeling shy, as if he wasn’t supposed to disturb her, perhaps she had had some troubles, only she knew, but he just couldn’t let her lie there in the filthy couch. His hand reached for her shoulder, barely applying any strength to the shakes he gave her, trying to be as gentle as possible “…Hey… Are you alright..?”
Lucy was never a morning person. She set three alarms spaced out over two hours just to make sure she rolled out of bed on time. Typically, she needed about an hour to herself just to slip in and out of fleeting dreams and muster up the motivation to face the day. As far as what had happened the night before, she was blissfully unaware, but it was safe to assume some form of alcohol was involved. A vice for humans but a poison for her, even a little bit was enough to knock her out until her body could filter it out.
Curled up in a ball, the alien was in the midst of a particularly pleasant dream when reality suddenly started to call. Her brow creased in distress as a squeal of a groan pushed past pouting lips. Then, there was a physical nudge and her prince charming rode away back into the safety of her subconscious. “Eonni, just...five more minutes...” her groggy voice pleaded. As a precaution, the woman turned over on her side and nestled against the couch just in case, who she thought was, her boss tried any funny business.
But when her dream refused to reanimate itself, she heard the voice much more clearly. Odd, it didn’t sound feminine enough. Something fishy was going on here... Swallowing hard, the redhead very reluctantly peeled her eyes open. Where was she? A couch? Then... Ever so slowly, she turned to glance over her shoulder and right into the face of a man. Her boss wasn’t married.
With a sharp gasp, the princess immediately flung herself upright and tossed her arms around her torso for some semblance of modesty despite still being fully clothed. “W-Where am I?” she breathed, doe eyes wide with obvious confusion.
