❧“Well hello there beautiful, are you the angel who is going to light up my life?”

"It sure is— still growing old I see!" He smirks while playfully wiggling his brows at her.

❧“Excuse- I don’t think I’m the one you’re looking for. This person” she pauses, pointing at her face. “shows no signs of aging. I’m only 22!”

for a second i thought you tagged me as wifi— but then i saw it was wifu~ and I am talking about you! {+ squishes your cheeks}

❧“Wifi? Well you’re just as important as wifi- but I obviously love you more my wifu! Ey~ why so cute?”

          He hesitated for a moment; trying to hold back a wide grin. “Are you trying to fish compliments?” he laughed out loud; patting her shoulder. “There, there. You look… okay.” With that, he took a step back, crossed his arms and rolled his eyes playfully.

❧  “I’m not trying. I straight out asked you for it.” She mused proudly, all elements of shame having vanished from her dictionary. She grimaced at the meager compliment- if it was even considered as one and shook her head. “That somehow seems more insulting.” Jisoo shook her head playfully. “Have you never said anything nice to anyone before?”

[RONNIE] 

no matter how many times jisoo would try to argue with her, it seemed like no use. veronica was just too stubborn that she would only really be concerned when she dropped from exhaustion. “ i’m almost done! just one more adjustment… “ she scribbled away in her journal before turning back to the fabric she was just looking at. “ then we can go order a pizza, and i’ll rest like you’ve wanted me to. “

❧ It was in her nature. Excess worrying always coming across as nagging, and no one could understand the source, not even Jisoo herself. Perhaps it was the fact that she knew the consequences one could potentially suffer from the smallest occurrences. She released an exhausted huff, resting her chin in her hands whilst watching the older female. “You better hurry, because my tummy will be mad if you delay the pizza even more.”

She was so funny to tease that he felt like teasing her for a few more time so he mimicked her actions and let out a soft gasp. “your true love is right here in front of you Jisoo-ah– not Jack from titanic come on!!” Quickly he held her wrists to keep her from fighting him, he knew she would go straight for it so it was better to hold her right away. “you calling me dork now?” 

❧ “You? You’re my true love?” She uttered, a bewildered  expression occupying her face. “What kind of horror story are you creating here?” As she spoke she tried to fight against his grip, determined to hit him at least once, but of course her energy was drained almost immediately. She sighed in defeated and raised her other hand. “Okay okay I won’t fight you, let me go. And yes, you’re the ultimate dork.”

He comes back out of the kitchen, a tall, cold glass of water in his hand before placing it on the coaster next to her plate neatly, “I’m guessing that’s about it?” he smiles. The tray had been flipped for him to carry at his side, waiting for another order. He actually didn’t know what else to do. There was only her and a few other customers, about a third of the join occupied.

❧ Her eyes read relief she spotted the glass of water, only then did she realize how dehydrated she really was. As soon as he placed it down she carefully picked it up and took a gratifying gulp and returned a smile to the male. “Umm, I think this is all. But how about you keep me company? I really hate eating alone, and everyone else” she paused looking around for a moment “looks fine so...?”

“They would become banana ghost in other words?” Eunmi inquired with a chuckle, the thought of it being too amusing for the elder. “Okay, I’ll do so from now on!” She whispered back with a playful grin plastered on her lips. “So how is work going? A lot to do, hm?”

❧“The thought is quite scary...imagine a bunch of banana ghosts chasing you and there is no escape because you’ll just end up slipping on their peel.” She evaluated, not even trying to suppress her laughter at their somewhat immature conversation . “Work is going really well! There isn’t too much to do but I think I am getting old because everything is suddenly 10 times harder.”

okay, for once veronica was being too headstrong. she always put her work before her own well being. but she would always push her limits especially at moments like this. “ well, nothing has really happened. “ there was times that she was quite close to it though. “ i’m just doing a few small things anyways. i’ll be done soon. “ the designer insisted.

❧“That’s not the point. You’re not supposed to stop when something has already happened, the whole point is that you stop before it happens.” Jisoo tried to explain her concern. but she knew that the elder would only listen if she wanted to. She sighed in defeat. “Fine, you can continue. But I’ll sit here and wait until you’re done.”
