everybody is sending you these, so I'm gonna send you as well even though we've never talked before (but you answer everybody so nicely, so hey why not). Since forever and a half ago I wanted to act, did so all through high school, then did Drama at university, and then after that finding out that I didn't have the talent or thick enough skin for it, had a complete freak-out about the future, moved to Japan for a year, and now I think I've decided to go back to school and study costume design!

Wow that’s a hell of a journey. I was convinced I’d be an actor for years before moving on from that dream, but I never got to move to Japan for it! That would have been the most interesting year. And that’s an awesome idea - you’ll still be in the performance business, you’ll just be the one in charge of making everyone look the part. Costume designers are crazy talented. I feel like they basically put the finishing touches on what makes an actor a character. It’s a big deal.

So good luck with it! I hope you enjoy the new direction.
