Taemin furrow his brow as the other took his message in the completely opposite direction. He assumes they new each other well enough to not have to be so clear to each other- he was oh so wrong. Now he has to quickly explain himself before she stared to assume anything else.

She chuckled softly in response to his message. Perhaps she had been too quick to interpret that message but Rosalynn received such suggestive invites often enough to assume. Rolling over in bed, she rested comfortably against ehr thick sheets, still in her pajama shirt and not at all ready.

[ text ] Maybe you’ll lose your mind because I’m just that one girl you haven’t had.

He doesn’t shop for clothing often, totally fine with his three pairs of jeans and a handful of tees with the occasional dress shirt, though with the arrival of a friend’s wedding invitation, Yifan’s begrudgingly forced himself into the dressing room of a men’s boutique the day of the big ceremony. He’s less than impressed with the selection in the big and tall section, everything either too short or too baggy on him, leading him to strip on end until he’s spent thirty minutes in the store - approximately 29 minutes too much in his mind. 

With a sigh, he peels off yet another failure, getting caught at the wrist due to a forgotten closed button before the white satin is hastily tossed to the ground in annoyance. Yifan reaches for the final option hanging on the holder, slipping it off the hanger and his arms through as he turns to the door where the mirror had been installed, Yifan’s moronic train of thought derailing when his reflection moves away from him, the door opening and a perfect stranger peering into his dressing room as he remains frozen, one arm in the shirt, the other stilled in its draping over his bare skin. “Uh. Occupied.”

Taem bites down on his lower lip, as he rubs the back of his neck. His eyes wonder trying avoid contact with the other. Love wasn’t something Taem was ever good at- let alone know it well enough to pretend it. “I-” He sigh softly as he glances at the other. “I don’t know if I can dear…” 

She sighed, an overdramatic expression of sadness on her features. “Oh Taemin, why must you always take things so seriously?” Rosalynn whined, “I asked that you pretend, not that you actually whisk me away for marriage.” She swung slightly on the children’s swing set, her blue sneaker dragging along the cork floor. A pout formed on her lips, followed by her mumbled words, “I know I’m impossible to love but even just pretend...”
