Day Seven: So Goodbye
Kim Hee Sun as the High Doctor Yoo Eun Soo in Faith - I know what you are thinking, “she left for a man”, but just listen, in the future she just wasn’t happy, she didn’t feel needed or valued as she did as the High Doctor, I’m not disregarding the sacrifice she made when she chose to go back to the past, she missed her family and the comforts of modern life, but I think she would miss a lot more if she stayed, after all she wouldn't be doing with she really wanted to do.
Lee Ji Ah as the Could’ve Been Queen Su Ji Ni in The Legend - She didn’t go for her own choice, but because she thought she one day would blaze the world on fire with her dark phoenix powers, lucky none of that ever happened and she got to come back bearing a more feminine appearance, a more serious personality, and free of that horrible wig. One thing the time she spent away didn’t change though, Su Ji Ni still kicked some serious ass.
Yes, they are both Kim Jong-hak’s leading ladies, I’m so sorry he passed away they way he did, The Legend and Faith are my favourite sageuks ever.
some fanart for my favorite drama, taewangsashingi/the legend! (or 태왕사신시. kiha is... honestly one of the most tragic characters i’ve come across. she gets constantly screwed over by e v e r y o n e and i just... cry. 3.5 by 5.5 inches, pencil.
Yeah, I'm still crying about, tragic priestesses, badass archer ladies, and heavenly fuckboy kings...
When will I get over The Legend?
