Here's my Ripper interpretation! I like to imagine he's a huge softie who's unafraid to show that side of himself, while still being a tough nut on combat! Though, I'd be lying if I he wasn't all that interesting at first. I'm hoping the next book will help change that!

So we in the TAF fandom know of Locket and Methusa's debate, yes? And how Locket argued that allowing the survival of bad ideas, weak individuals, and general incompetence would trigger a sort of "cultural stagnation?" -I keep thinking about how in their world that would be quite literal:
Methusa longs for a society without pain and death, but Kivvas are LITERALLY born from death- they spawn from rotting bodies, from those who've been cut down. If there is NO more death whatsoever, there will be no more Kivvas.

I wanted to see if I could turn this into a lil thread about my interpretations of characters from the August Few series! Granted, a lot of these drawings will include outfits I made up because I've been a sucker for drawing fits! I'll tag the spoilers because some of the headcanons may hint at those.
Personally, Lucy Lacemaker here happens to be one of my favorite characters in the book! She can be very smart and empathetic, while still slipping up when it comes to her anger or ego. I'm excited to learn more about her & see where her path takes her in future books!
I now provide my interpretation of Savier! I'm the kind of person to hyperfixate on background characters, even if they only appear for like one or two chapters! Like Sally, he looks like he got a lot of history behind him! Honestly, this interpretation has to be one of my favorites in the batch!
