"I watched this series years ago without even realizing how terrible it was. Now I hate it completely, but I'm not really sure how I feel about the character designs. I'm somewhere between "oh, this is absolutely awful and pointless edgy" to "well, the character designs were actually the only thing that weren't actually that bad in this show". "The only exposure I have to this thing is from Doug Walker's version of the Wall and I do not think that the context of her original show could do anything to change how much I really can't stand this design"

My original character inspired by the book amygdala. The complex design of the writer inspired me. I don't have a name for this creature yet but i accept suggestion.

I wanted to see if I could turn this into a lil thread about my interpretations of characters from the August Few series! Granted, a lot of these drawings will include outfits I made up because I've been a sucker for drawing fits! I'll tag the spoilers because some of the headcanons may hint at those.
Personally, Lucy Lacemaker here happens to be one of my favorite characters in the book! She can be very smart and empathetic, while still slipping up when it comes to her anger or ego. I'm excited to learn more about her & see where her path takes her in future books!

You NEED to check their shit out PLEASE. They are like if Vivziepop was inspired by the Twisted Ones and Fran Bow with absolutely no limits to identities and the insane designs. But also not a huge douche.
