I don't think Miles' Venom Blast being OP is a racist knock at the character. He's one shotted Peter & Venom to name a few. A lot of times it seems like a get out of jail free card than ability. And I am a black guy (so no prejudice.)

Basically at this point I’m primed to immediately think that criticism about women or PoC being overpowered is rooted in sexism or racism. And really that’s as far as my opinion goes.

Hey glad to see another Spider-Marvel fan! Hey what do you think about the movies using the ship? By the time Infinity War rolls around, Holland will be older and the relationship will be more likely. I'd say it'd be a cool logical twist.

Hi! Thanks for asking! I had this thought, too, when I heard they cast a 20something Carol. Brie Larson is only 7 years older than Tom Holland but Peter is 16 so it’s a 10 year gap for the characters. Even if he’s in college for Infinity War I don’t think canon would go there. Not necessarily because of the age difference – MCU is shipping Vision and Wanda which is an 18 year gap between the actors – but because they are clearly dead set on ‘kid’ Spidey or they wouldn’t have reset him to 16 again. IF Carol ends up being a ‘kid’ to the rest of the Avengers, maybe? They do call Wanda a kid in Civil War and the actresses are the same age, and I can imagine Brie Larson playing a part time college student, part time air force pilot version of Carol. So it’s possible if they made her a senior/grad and him a freshman. But I don’t expect it to be canon. 

But for fanon, yes please! In fact you inspired me to make a graphic which I will now post (so you ALSO inspired me to post content to this blog for the first time in years THANK YOU).
