I'll be honest, I often feel pretty despondent after posting a wip, so I'm not going to bother trying to share a long one this time.
"It’s foolish I know, but the thought of you touching anyone else… the thought of anyone else touching you... the things it made me want to do…"
I didn’t like the person it made me want to be…
Those were going to be the next words that left her mouth. But then his fingers tightened.
"What did it make you want to do?" he murmured into her skin, and although his voice was calm and quiet, his words reverberated through her with an energy that was almost feral.
The breath caught in her throat and she held it there for a moment; held his energy in her lungs. A long silence filled the room, heady with tension. For just a second Nymera felt the old instinct to downplay her feelings and dismiss the moment. To deny herself as she normally did. But she was so much more than she used to be… and she knew in that moment that the unhinged words making their way towards her tongue, words that might have stuck in her throat with her better judgement if she had had to look him in the eye, would be not just be accepted but relished. She exhaled slowly as she let herself sink back into him, pressing the curve of her body into his.
"I wanted to rip her apart like a rift," she breathed. "I wanted to rip you apart… to crawl inside your ribs and claw my way into your heart."
She felt Solas exhale on her neck, warm breath into cold air, and then the wet press of his lips as his body sank down into hers. His fingers, his nails, bit into the hollow spaces between her ribs like he intended to do the same.
"You already have," he managed. "You already have."

But it is nice to be like this, his head pillowed on Fernando's chest and Fernando's arm firmly wrapped around him, listening to the steady beat of his heart.
It is grounding. Comforting.
Things Lewis would have never associated with Fernando… and yet here he is, unwilling to move when he really should go before Fernando wakes up - perhaps he should pretend to be still asleep, let Fernando deal with the embarrassment of waking up entangled together while claiming ignorance.
