It became kind of a life motto. Forgiveness shouldn’t devalue your standards.
I will always order this food: uh. I don’t know how to answer this, really. Water, I guess? Cause that’s the only thing that isn’t dependent on the cuisine.
What you can expect is that I will always order last, I will over order, try to share the food family style, and then refuse to allow anyone to pay for it. If you are at my table you will be fed, it’s non negotiable.

Current favorite show/movie/book: I got restuck on Fallout and Bridgerton because the new seasons came out. Finally watched s2 of Wednesday and I am mourning the character assassination of Morticia and Gomez. Watching Plur1bus now and enjoying it. But none of that was the question because it said favorite and I don’t really have that at the moment cause I’m in that weird between fixations stage. Oh but I did get swallowed whole there for a moment by Welcome to Derry.
Favorite book remains the same: Sirens of Titian by Kurt Vonnegut.
Current favorite movie: Alien (1979), dunno why but my brain just decided that’s THE movie rn. Don’t get me wrong, I normally do love the movie but it’s just speaking to my heart atm.

Last thing you really got into: I am a fan of unsolved mysteries (the concept but also the show: RIP Robert Stack). I recently watched this docuseries about the unresolved murder of Barbara Hamburg. It’s directed by Madison Hamburg, the son of the victim, and it is a beautiful, heartbreakingly honest account of Barbara, her life, and the circumstances surrounding her murder. Madison is truly a brilliant director and I hope he gets the answers he’s looking for. I also hope that the Madison Police Department’s gross incompetence is recognized by the public.

Oddly specific thing that brings you joy: my dogs have a fountain water bowl and when I refill it, instead of opening it up and dumping the water into the reservoir, I like to slowly pour the water into the bowl part and watch the fountain come back to life.
Phone wallpaper: it changes every hour but right now it’s a picture I took from my hotel in Osaka
What makes you happy: I dunno, a lot of things? My dogs, writing, the ocean, storms, dad jokes, when people randomly send me pictures of something in their daily life cause they thought I’d appreciate it, curry.
