Well, guys, my first arc of An Trianachd Fraser is complete. I’m a little emotional about it. Taghadh is the hardest and most complicated story I’ve written to date. At times, it was tough to carry on, to keep writing... but I did it. It wouldn’t have happened without a few people, so I want to say thank you.
@anoutlandishidea: my dearest beta fish, you championed this idea from the very beginning. You were the first person to whom I said: “I have this idea... is it absolutely crazy?” As the craziness increased to near insanity levels, you cheered me on. You walked me through countless levels of brainstorming and painstakingly beta-ed every chapter. Without you, this fic wouldn’t have happened.💗
@jules-fraser and @sassenachwaffles: my two biggest cheerleaders. You two never gave up on me, even when I came very close to quitting half way through. Your enthusiasm got me through the thick of it, and I am so greatful for your friendship.💗
@kalendraashtar and @missclairebelle: what do you do when two of the best writers in this fandom start stanning your work? You freak out (just a bit lol). I admire both of your works so much, and I was so flattered that you two even read my fic... don’t even get me started on the kind compliments you paid me. Anyway, thank you both!💗
@phoenixflames12: week after week you left me thoughtful and glowing commentary on every single chapter. You picked up on points and details so subtle I didn’t think anyone would know they were there. To have someone truly “get it” means so much to me, and so I must say thank you.💗
@thatsoccercoach and @notameeksassenach : my other two cheerleaders. Your enthusiasm for this story constantly kept me going. And your support when I wanted to tear my hair out did as well (even if it was a simple: “I believe in you!” Or “it will be great!”). It really is the simple things that matter, and your friendship and constant support got me through.💗
Again, thank you to everyone who read, reblogged, commented, etc on this story. It truly was a labor love, and I’m thrilled that so many people enjoyed it. I can’t wait to share Arc II with you all (you know once I figure it out, write it, and find a fun nick name for another Ghaidhlig word I can’t pronounce 😆🤦🏻♀️)
