Rules: Choose any three fandoms (in random order) and answer the questions, then tag people you wanna know better
Three Fandoms:
I actually misread the rules and thought I was supposed to pick the 3 fandoms at random.
Luckily enough, this blog’s theme still managed grab the last spot.
The first character you loved:
I knew Kid Icarus from Brawl, so Pit.
It’s hard to see someone not answering Deku for this one.
Maizono was the perfect introduction to what DanganRonpa would be like and still my best example of how to make a character feel complete with very limited screentime.
The character you never expected to love so much:
I don’t know, Uprising was very quick to show what their characters were like, so there not really any surprise favorites. I guess coming from Brawl to the actual franchise I wouldn’t expect Palutena to as great as she was.
Shinsou sure was a big surprise when he fought Deku. I’ll put in Toogata as well because I really didn’t care until his fight against Chisaki.
Chabashira gave us the worst first impression she could, to be honest.
The character you relate to the most:
The Kid Icarus is mostly a bunch of asses laughing at Pit’s misery, which makes all of them relatable, but I guess the most relatable is Palutena but she cares and supports Pit’s success but still never spares a laugh for it.
Tough question. Bakugou’s arc of an arrogant asshole realizing he was not as special as he thought then slowly becoming more aware of his own flaws and stopping being an arrogant asshole is pretty much my own life story but Bakugou is too angry to be considered relatable (not to mention he relates to pre-2012 me instead current me). I’ll just say Deku or Tokoyami because I honestly don’t know.
Serious answer: The ideas about identity, life experience and personal improvement Mioda presents in her last Free Time Event are as agreeable and I too have an easier time communicating through shitpost humor than through simple serious sentences. Better answer: Sonia because I too understand Japanese perfectly but constantly misuse the language when I try to speak. Best answer: All characters defined by their love for Junko.
The character you’d slap:
Aurum Pyrrhon, hopefully removing the cool Pyrrhon from that ball.
Bakugou. Mineta deserves the slap more but if did my hand would get stuck on his head and no one wants a Mineta attached to your body for long periods of time.
Togami is the first to come to mind, but Asahina already tried that and it did work, so I’ll go with Angie.
Three favourite characters (in order of preference):
A character you didn’t like at first but do now:
That’s... not too different from the second question, actually. As I already answered there, Uprising was very quick to show what their characters were like, so no one. I guess Pittoo grew a little beyond his edge but still not a big favorite.
Shigaraki was terrible in his first arc but the point of his character is that he is learning how to be a good villain and I’m very much enjoying his progress nowadays.
I didn’t like Yumeno because her talent is the one I wanted the most in the series and her laziness gimmick made me assume she had no passion as an entertainer, but then the Magical Show plotline quickly proved me wrong and her arc made her grow out of it, so now she is my favorite survivor in the entire series.
Kid Icarus shipping is a concept that never crossed my mind before. Pit and Palutena is an obvious answer I guess, but I don’t think I can produce two more.
Uh... Bakugou with Uraraka, Kirishima and Deku as 3 separate pairings.
KuzuPeko, MatsuJun, Oumota.
