Key opened the door, surprised to see Tahlullah staring up at him. "Oh, hello, Lullah."

"I-" Not really. Not at all, actually. "I've been... coping! Distracting myself with other things, you know? I've done lots of farming and even extended the Prime Path!"

He looked down at her. She was so young, and she didn't deserve to feel the sting of betrayal yet, or ever. "I hope you're doing okay. There's no need to worry about me."

Key?

> The voice was small, but oh-so recognizable.

> Tahlullah walked from the ladder to where Key was standing, grabbing at the elder's hands.

I- I need help.

> The 8 year old's voice cracked.

Lucy's going insane, she- she slapped me.

Is.. Does anyone actually like Manburg?

Key looked down at her with wide eyes, and drew in a shaky breath.

“Lucy.. what..?” He whispered in shock, mostly to himself. He shook his head slightly, he couldn’t linger on that right now.

“I don’t- I don’t know, Lullah.” He paused, wishing that better words of comfort would come to him, to no avail. “I- I don’t. I hope you know that. Gods, I wish that went for everyone,” he whispered hoarsely.

Something about being in Manburg had always given him a sense of unease, which had only grown in his time being there. Of course, it hadn’t ever felt the same without Lucy and Lullah. It was not and would never be L’Manburg. It was not his home.

So I left Tahlullah all alone for a week to finish her molt 100% undisturbed

and I get to check on her today and I'm SO EXITED to see how she's doing. I miss having my crabs at school with me. Two more weeks and I'll be reunited with them for good.

Tahlullah is really sick. And she's not getting better.

Tahlullah is a Basset Hound. She's 11 years old. She has a 14-inch ear-span, and when she was little she used to trip on them. She also used to refuse to sleep on anything but this really nice pillow. So we gave it to her.

She started acting really weird on Saturday, and my mom took her to the doctor. She apparently had arthritis and a really bad back, so we got her some pain killers and some medication and we figured she'd be better.

Then she started just kinda... bleeding. Mom took her to the doctor again today, and it turns out she has a flesh eating bacteria. She seems content (we put her in a t-shirt to try to make her more comfortable) but... We don't know how much longer she's going to be around for.

So that's Lula. Tootise. Lulu, Loots, Fruitsy, Fruity, Loo, Girly, Tahlulu.

I love her very much.
