3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?
He sucks.
Ok but seriously. These are things I like, but in-canon make him a loser. he killed Jin which is unforgivable. Probably the top of the list, understandably. THE FACT THAT HIS GUT REACTION UPON SEEING JIN AGAIN WAS TO YELL “KILL.” Even tho it’s all objectively good story-wise. Dudes got a lot of issues and is deeply fucked in the head, but that’s what makes him a special little guy.
A real issue I have is I’m not a massive fan that Keigo hadn’t met Nagant before the dark hero arc. it doesn’t make too much sense to me that they wouldn’t have at least interacted once. It’s probably because Nagant had already been arrested by this then, the timeline is kinda fuzzy. But personally I would’ve liked it if there was even a little more history.
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
He’s a good cook!!! Not like he has the time or energy to do it, but I like to think he’d take it up as a hobby if he could. Maybe the HPSC had a home ec class for him as a teenager.
I stand by that sketch of Keigo taking Jirou and Tokoyami out to dinner, which I don’t think Hori ever said wasn’t canon, but I’m pretty sure it was a little “what if” doodle. The two goth kids??? It makes sense somehow. His options of people to hangout with are so slim..
