I forgot to share the height charts here and figured I should also include Draga’s ref that’s been colour corrected back to what I originally planned (more white, less blue-grey). Love having a couple with size difference, so I made Taig pretty tol to match Draga who is smol.
Draga and Taig are from the same species of alien I just thought it’d be neat if there were regional differences for them.

Thoughts as I go part whatever:
“I shall consult my parents” oh my god that’s not a doctor that’s a puppet
Awakened: House of Night #8
Thoughts as I go part 2 (I think):
Something I’ve just noticed in two consecutive chapters is a new trait, which is direct foreshadowing. In the past books of the series, there’s been moments of foreshadowing that were appropriately subtle to allow for later reflection
This book, though, goes directly in with characters saying “If only at this point I had made a different decision” two (and a little bit of a half) times thus far
It’s not bad, it’s just a new narrative shift that I find unusual to introduce eight novels into a series
Curse of Magic: Fairy Tale Enchantress # 2
Thoughts as I go part 2:
The time period of the novel makes sense, since the first book only focused on Angelique’s time with Evariste and an entire series happens in which they are apart
I think you definitely have to read the first series in order to appreciate why time moves so quickly in this book, whereas you could generally read any individual books from the fairy tale series without worrying about missing something
