why? in real life, the two travelled together to their retirement stables and stayed very close even after shuttle's death, monthly updates on doto are on the "doto & shuttle newsletter" source.

i like to think that the friendly and extroverted shuttle helps doto overcome her sense of inferiority! she's not afraid to point out doto's spirals; doto has to confront them. meanwhile, doto helps keep shuttle from being lonely! they both enjoy each other's company, and accomodating doto's shyness, taiki learns to be more content not surrounded by lots of friends; especially with her deep feelings for doto.

I do really like that TaikiDoto seems to be gaining popularity in Japan due to the irl horses being soulmates horse yaoi best of friends
