JOJO RABBIT Dir. Taiki Waititi
If you want to see one of the most original pieces of work, in ages, then please get your asses out to the Theatre and buy a ticket for this movie!
This film had some shades of Wes Anderson, but no one can deny Taiki Waititi’s personal style. Filled with comedy and moments gut-punching tragedy, this film is a love letter to all of the single parents out there.
My biggest take from this film: children are so impressionable. Parenting has so much good (and bad) input in the way a child thinks, breathes, and acts in society. Objectivity very well may be the most crucial, underrated aspect of parenting.
