Motherless Brooklyn (2019) Dir. Edward Norton
This was a phenomenal film that no one saw.  They don’t make movies like this anymore, but I sure wish they did.  I saw this with my girlfriend and her mother and we ALL loved it.  Three completely different perspectives all had the same outcome--this was a beautiful movie.
Norton is always wonderful, we don’t get to see enough of him, but Alec Baldwin proves that he dominates each and every scene he’s in.
The soundtrack is absolutely superb--a great jazz undertone that makes the seedy, dark streets of Brooklyn seem sexy and elusive.
From what I understand, it took Norton the better part of ten years or so to get this made. Â It was well worth the wait.
