2025 and people are still referring to Salmonids as feral… sighhhh. Don’t even get me STARTED on Salmonlings being made to make them “more acceptable” Chat they are based off of Indigenous peoples we CANNOT be doing this 😭

(I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and say that most of the time folks are well meaning and genuinely don’t know 🙏 but how hard is it to just read the lore??)

🥱 and 🌳 for Flanger and Phoenix ☝️

🥱: Flanger and Phoenix actually go to bed at the same time! Like the equivalent of 10-11PM… They only do this because they have this ritual where they both wake up super early to declare their goals for the day to the sun. Then at night they tell the moon what the accomplished and tell their long term goals to the stars!! It’s very complicated but that’s been part of both of their lore forever :) sorry for the yap 🙏

🌳: Funny cause Phoenix has technically been doing that a lot on and off. I think his Experiences in The Indestructible City growing up have turned him into somewhat of a misanthrope. By that I mean he definitely is one 😭. He’s really good at hunting and finding stuff for himself though. No trouble there!! He would be completely fine (if not missing Flanger quite a bit.)

🌳: Flanger would be a lot worse…. He’s a huge extrovert and would practically drive himself crazy with no civilization around :( Sure he could hunt and burn whatever down with his fire- but what’s the point without his best friend Phoenix? He’d turn out in the long term as long as he can distract himself with long and extravagant flights across the continent. My son… <3

🧐 FACE WITH MONOCLE — is your oc more logical or emotional?

Twice-Dice is logical in mostly all aspects (especially with his job) but he’s known to make decisions from his “heart” in times of high stress. Especially if something strikes a chord with him he’ll feel compelled to act more quickly :3

🥯 BAGEL — what does your oc's typical breakfast look like? do they usually eat breakfast?

Picking the one with the funniest eating habits… Boisduval would find it very entertaining to just eat candy for breakfast and worry about the consequences laterrrrr. One day she’ll snap out of it! :)

💛 YELLOW HEART — how many languages does your oc speak? what language(s) are they learning, if any?

Phoenix- Two! He’s currently learning to perfect his Dragon.

Claws- She only knows Salmonid, anything else is basically lost with her.

Calipurr- Three fluently. She’s still very new with Demonic but she tries…

Three-Eight, Twice-Dice, and Kismet- Can lump all of these together with knowing Angelic and English, Kismet also knows French!!

Taylor- Two! She’s not currently learning any.

Amaryllis- One… embarrassing!!

Problemsolver- Only Dragon, he did consider enchanting himself to understand what scavengers say, though.

Cauldra- Two fluently. Demonic, English, and some Spanish which she’s currently learning.

Telzer- Two again! Demonic and English.

Flanger- Dragon and some Human- he knows Human slightly better than Dragon, though.

Boisduval and Vespa- Both only know Dragon!!

💤 SLEEPING SIGN — is your oc a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? how are their sleeping habits?

In order of tagging:

Phoenix- Dead. Doesn’t move until early morning </3 He has a very strict sleeping schedule that he follows!!

Claws- I feel like she’s a heavy sleeper that sleeps whenever (and wherever) it’s convenient. Might not always be convenient for others but who cares?

Calipurr- Light sleeper methinks. She probably has a bedtime if that means anything :3 She’s the type to go to sleep before 1 AM thoughts hit…

Three-Eight- She doesn’t require sleep but she’s probably tried it once or twice. Likely a light sleeper in the sense of when you can’t sleep but you black out and don’t remember if you slept (which is the worst feeling EVER!!)

Taylor- Crime doesn’t sleep and she doesn’t either!! (Ahem. Light.)

Twice-Dice- It’s never slept ever, there’s just no need to.

Kismet- Back when she was alive she slept heavily! I mean… you kinda have to to be murdered in your sleep :(

Amaryllis- She’s definitely a heavy sleeper with a bedtime. It contrasts with how alert she is and how hard she works during the day :3

Problemsolver- Light but kinda by choice! It’s sort of hard to sleep when you can hear and see the dreams/thoughts of the others around you. Why not spend time watching others dreams rather than having nightmares of your own?

Cauldra- She doesn’t need to sleep but she does lie dormant occasionally!

Telzer- Another one who doesn’t need to! (Why, sleep, if there was anything I did need- it wouldn’t be you!)

Flanger- Same as Phoenix but slightly lighter!

Boisduval- Back in Pantala she was forced to wake up at up absurdly early hours to tend to random household duties. She’s making up for that lost sleep now- HEAVY!!

Vespa- Probably the most normal sleeper on this list. Wakes up and goes to bed sensibly and is a mix of the two sleeping types :3
