The seller I bought my tail from on Etsy never responded to me when I asked where they sourced it from in more detail, which just confirms to me that it IS in fact unethical and they knew and still misled me.

I was looking online the other day for faux fur tail keychains (for an ita bag I plan to make) and I saw MY EXACT TAIL as a listing… They’re a dime a dozen, all with the golden lobster clasp. I paid $30 for what I thought was genuine ethical taxidermy and this other website was charging only NINE. DOLLARS. For it. NINE. I wasted SO MUCH MONEY it makes me SO MAD

scammers are genuinely some of the scum of the earth. Just swindling and misleading people out of greed. How pathetic can you be? Grrrrrrrr

As communities get popular, people will learn how to profit from them, especially if the resources they have to get things are scarce. Fellow alterhumans, please be wary of scam tails and fur farm tails. Don’t take everything at face value. Please study the difference between faux fur and genuine fur bc you might accidentally buy cruel real fur products instead of faux ones bc they’re falsely advertised.

Just be careful and well-researched, okay? Okay <3 don’t waste $30 that you needed like I did 💔💔
