Lena stood on top of the apartment building looking out over the city, the rooftops lined the streets below and match what Lena had scarcely remembered, so long ago had building like these fallen to ruble around and her helpless to stop fate. Red eyes gazed over the roofs paved with somewhat of a same look as the sun set just beyond them making a scene as unforgettable just as the first fall was, and perhaps this place would soon fall as well. Lena moved herself to stand just at the edge where the floor of the roof curbed up for safety of those who explore, but such a low barrier would surely only tip someone who failed to watch themselves. Lena gave a sigh, such a view was never possible in her world, the would never rise nor set, the elements had left the land she was familiar with and time had all but ceased, yet here the reign of terror had never existed in the first place.
“...i’ll say goodbye to you...though it’s the end of the world, why blame myself?” Lena said this quietly to herself as she then hopped on the small barrier and took a seat dangling her feet from the ledge. Why did her curse bring her here, surely the cycle had reason or was it her own will to abandon the cycle that brought her? Her purpose still shrouded in mystery as she looked upon the setting the thoughts melted away as her eyes focused on the orange horizon, this world had hope despite the atrocities it had shown thus far. It would not be long until her attention was torn from the horizon and brought to the door she herself had come from not just a few moments ago. It seems she would no longer be alone in this spot where the beauty of this world was untouched by the plague that was the human race. “So much for a quiet space.”
Lena said this knowing that the person could not hear her yet, it was likely that the two that were about to meet resided in the building, more than likely it was probably a fact by how late it was already. Lena spun around on her spot to face the door so she could see who was coming and unlike she thought it would be to some stupid person coming to worry about her sitting up here, it was some odd looking human who was still probably concerned about her though it was just a guess. “Well hello there.” Lena greeted in a royal like tone, one she had not used in awhile, she meant to use this as she quickly wanted to assert her position in the conversation she assumed might spark. “You have come to watch the sunset as well i assume?” Lena posed a simple question to the other who made their way onto the roof now, she didn’t intend to hold a full conversation that was never her priority, the humans just parish long before she did anyways.
