List of moto2 and moto3 faves with the moment/thing that made me like them
*this is with the warning that I began watching last year
Beginning with the obvious list of my (mostly fake) latinas bc if they are gonna wear the flag and suffer the consequences I can at least enjoy and defend them
Diogo Moreira: my Brazilian went up to motogp but the love began last year and he is at fault for my unwavering hope of late championship fights, bc for me it was a dream that one of the two latam representatives won and the it WASNT a dream, it hapenned, I almost cried. Also Italtrans leather supremacy plus top 1 marcling but that came way later, when i knew of him better)
David Alonso: baby, wished for him to have done better, endearing, my guy, constantly fumbling the Latino bit. Him and Diogo were my guys in moto2 bc of #latam, I worried about him too mucj and hoped too much (as a lot of people) but the moment he became my guy, was when the voices won in Balaton Park last year, like him coming from the back into the front to win it all sold me on it completely, that was my guy.
Valentin Perrone: my coyote, i loved his fight with maximo quiles and his general performance when he entered to moto3, very sad for his drop in performance last year but happy that he took his time to come back into form. He also amuses me too much with his dry humor and mostly, with the way everytime the latam comms remembered him said some combo or catalan-argentinian (sorry its really funny, is coyote even catalan) . Also they asked him about gunter steiner acquiring his team and his answers was idgaf and he is staying in my heart bc of it.
Marco Morelli: Supporting another latina+liking when underdogs win+he became aspar rider+ this year he has become my underrated fave through the aspar vlogs
Guys I like bc of performance: like I saw them across a season or on a specific race and just rooted for him since then
Guido Pini: my win it or bind it guy, italian mm93 fanboy, somehow also got mm old manager, I hope he stops winning it and binding it but I love him anyways. More recently he is also reminding me (physically)to jannik sinner (tall, lanky, similar face)
Angel Piqueras: My piquira, his performance last year in moto3 was amazing AND I love when he gets angry, like my man won a race but bc people were being careless he used his podium interview to bring attention to this and hoenstly, I think more riders with that attitude to safety in riding should get into motogp
J. A. Rueda: pretry obvious looking at last year, very fast, very likeable, but also rueda means wheel in spanish and John Wheel won the 2025 moto3 world championship
Collin Veijer: fried of david, the superior Dutchman, hilarious man and mom of the ajo ktm quadrant
Faves in law: (my mutuals like them and i worry about them by extention) Alvaro Carpe, Brain Uriarte, Joel Kelso (this one is exclusively bc the love the latam comms seem to have to him, calling someone naranjito kelso endears them to me)
Hakim Danish: he did so well in his debut and now in his rookie year in need him to win everything
Maximo Quiles: same thing but rn he is also the rider I most times than not, dont have to worry about his performance bc he will perform.l
Taiyo Furusato: just the overtaking capacity, suddenly i was watching any session and this beatifull honda that reminded me of ultraman was slicing through the pack like butter just... ugh it wqs beatifull
Last the love-hate pendulum:
Manu Gonzalez: this is a love hate pendulum bc of performance, he is dominant, in ways that are admirable and so great (and I cant believe he doesnt have any seat nor taht people didnt consider him for the championship this year jfc) but this dominance is also what make me enter the hate part in two fronts: the races bc he is gonna get the places and push around the tiwm tower, and standings, and even pole from my faves, and the second is just my loyalty to latam riders and how sometimes they get put against each other in discourse (and im not even on twitter, imagine how pissy taht would get me)
But is a earnest love hate relationship i have with manu, if he ever gets to motogp (or even if he moves to any other championship) he is gonna be 100% my guy (even if i 🙄 sometimes when he talks)
