1) that wasn't a fake tan, some tans, like that one, actually come from the sun. 2) having a tan person in a movie does not make the movie or its producers racist. tan is not blackface or racism -- it is a natural result of spending time in the sun. the movie wasn't trying to have a fake person of color. the producers just wanted to hire an actor who HAPPENED to be tan.
You don’t actually know if CPratt’s tan was fake or not. You can’t know because he hasn’t stated whether or not it was. Honestly you are missing the fact that his tan in Jurassic World is a color he’s never been before or will likely ever be again because it was most likely a fake tan.
Having a naturally tanned person does not the producers racist I stand by my opinion that CPratt had a fake tan in Jurassic World.
The use of fake tans is a separate issue from natural tans which you are conflating just because the character CPratt is portraying had a plausible reason to have a real tan. But that doesn’t mean that CPratt earned that tan by being in the sun or being born that color. He most likely used a fake tan either with makeup or a spray tan.
