For New Moms – Advice and Tips
When it comes to tips for new moms, this is possibly the single most important of all things. You need to accept now that you’re a new mom. It’s not an indulgence to take care of your own needs, it’s vital.
Yes, it’s possible to take care of others when you haven’t had enough sleep, when you’re not eating a balanced diet or getting some time to yourself. However, there is no question that the quality of care will suffer eventually. You’ll be less patient with your baby and loved ones and you may even start to feel depressed, unusually emotional and resentful.
Don’t wait for someone to encourage you to take time out. Schedule it in. Arrange a babysitter. Ditch the guilt.
Ask your doctor about a supplement to keep up your energy levels and milk supply and try to get your baby into a routine that means you can use at least one of his or her nap times to catch up on some sleep yourself.

Do what you can to keep life as simple and uncomplicated as possible to ensure a happy and relaxed family life. Try not to get into a state if your house gets messy or if you have to serve a few ready-made meals.
Tiny babies don’t need bathing every day, for instance, just wipe the grubby areas and inside all the folds of the skin with damp cotton wool for a quick clean up.
