It's not just a matter of men being dumb, every human being is possibly dumb. What happens is that some men are more than dumb, they're complete fucking arseholes to women and to people in general, they treat every other as their inferior, they refuse to do anything which they consider "not male" (which is quite a lot i must say) and act like women are made to serve them. This attitude is nothing new and even less innocent, it has been practiced since the beggining of times and defended by the modern religions such as christianism (for example when in the bible says that women we're born out of men's ribs and so on...). It is true that men and women are different, and only someone really ignorant can't see that. But this difference doens't mean that one should be privileged and the other discriminated,I believe that men are able to do some things women are not and women are able to do some things men are not, but still everyone should try to do everything regardless of being considered a "female task" or the opposite. What happens is that sometimes women let this happen, i'm not justifying some mens attitude but rather explaining it, some women are happy with this kind of society and defend it as if they were men. In my opinion the only way to truly change people's mentalities and to end this gender privileged society is for both men and women work together in the true spirit of feminism (when I use this word I do not mean the invertion of what's happening, I mean the defense of gender equality and the fight for equal rights)!
