ABOUT MALLORY:
Mallory has never been particularly loud or boisterous, always preferring to stay to herself a little more, but that doesn’t mean that she’s at all shy or meek. Self-confidence and the natural ability to be outgoing wasn’t something that ever came natural to her and she’s definitely had to work on it and build it over the years. Emotions are also a hard thing for her to express, but ironically she has a whole lot of them and is often pretty sensitive. She’s not very confrontational, but she definitely likes to get a rise out of people whenever she can even though she herself isn’t easily riled up. Making friends is definitely not her strong suit. At all. Even as a kid she found it really hard to put herself out there, but when she does make a friend then she sticks with them because once you’re in her heavily guarded heart then that’s it. You’re in. Her relationship with her parents has always been a bit complicated. Her naturally closed off nature can often work against her with them, especially because her parents were never home while she was growing up and are home even less now that she is a little older. Her life was an endless stream of nannies and extended sleepovers with friends. Presents were sent for birthdays and Christmas was usually her being stuck with a nanny at some business party so that she’d be present for appearances and pictures. It made her more independent, yeah, but it also made her wild and a little affection starved, as a child and as a teenager.
As a child, you’d find her with her best friend Avery or off wreaking havoc somewhere by herself. She was always pretty adult to the point that it was pretty comical, planning her future career as a dinosaur in depth and trying to gather references from family members and friends that’d seen her in action. And often that one kid off playing by herself, not because she was shy but because she didn’t really know how to put herself out there enough to make friends since she was an only child, which seemed to be a recurring theme as she went through the next few years. Mallory started modeling at the age of three, one of the few good things that her mother got her involved in that paid off in the long run, and she instantly fell in love with it. All the confidence she lacked in everyday life always made an appearance in front of the camera and that’s what she likes to think makes her so successful.
Once she hit her teenage years things got a lot more complicated for her. She started traveling more for her job without her nannies having to accompany her, she started getting a lot more fame and exposure, and she definitely started feeling all of the things that came with all of that. The new crowd that liked to drink and smoke and mingle with other celebrities, the criticism and mean comments that she got from people she didn’t even know about her body and her looks and how she didn’t deserve what she had, and just the feeling of being lost and pretty lonely in a completely foreign world to her. It all took a huge toll on her already weak self-confidence and her ability to put herself out there. She had to start homeschooling once she turned sixteen and that isolated her even more. Then, in comes Z. They met at a party when she was sixteen and instantly hit it off. They were really close friends for a few months before they started dating and he really helped her out with the new lifestyle she was trying to adapt to and things were okay, better than okay, with him.. until they weren’t.
