{ooc: The age different between them is nowhere near that bad by current canon she's 24 and he's 31 unless you don't count the two years he was dead in which case he's only 29. His 21st birthday was mentioned in comics after Kitty's 14th was.}

I probably should have specified that I meant the difference between Hank and Kitty. XD Hank's 34 this year, hence a ten year gap, which in his mind is just too wide a gulf, especially since she was a student and everything. I can't ever see Hank dating a former student, it'd wig him out too much. Kurt/Kitty is far more sensical, as you pointed out. :3
