Episode 11
Hey listeners! Today I want to talk about taking chances and becoming involved. Before I left for school, everyone kept telling me to try new things, have an open mind, etc. I always brushed them off and was like “yea, yea” because I kept hearing it over and over again. I have always wanted to join a sorority and during the rush process, I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it because it is so different than northern sororities. I stuck with it and it turned out to be something I actaully enjoy. I have also joined fashion boards and I might do an intermural sport with my friends. I am trying to do more things that make me happy and try new things before it is too late and I think you all should do the same. It is so important to put ourselves out there and try new things because you don’t want to regret it in the future. Even if you end up not liking something, at least you could say “I tried!”. The inspirational quote for today is "In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take.". Have you had any experiences like mine?
