if i posted a snippet of a fanfic im working on, would anyone be willing to give me some critique or even just tell me if they think its interesting so i can know if its worth writing?

I think I owe you an apology for being an arse with my comment and ruining your vibe. I mean, it's not worth much, but I'm sorry, anyway.

{{ You don’t owe me an apology. You have a legit critique and you’re entitled to your opinion. I’m just feeling insecure right now. I definitely didn’t “throw” traits and quirks into a blender when building a character and I definitely don’t see the character as flat.

Why I don’t think he’s flat:

A flat character would be evil and do nothing else. He does other things. He heals people as Emeril and does actually enjoy it. He feels guilt/remorse (which he doesn’t understand but still), he feels frubbly for people, he has trouble hurting bonded pairs and he does have human (pony?) weaknesses. (Bluebelle and select other people he comes to see as people and not commodities). I wouldn’t consider that a flat character, personally. If someone gave me the description I would okay it as a more fleshed-out character even without knowing his backstory (which will be provided in time.

Now I just hope I get those things across (which I think I have been doing. 75% of Emeril’s rp time so far has been as Emeril, the “good” side, not doing anything evil. I don’t know if you didn’t read those threads or if I failed to show his dissonance between Almas the monster and Emeril the person but I’m going to try harder in the future.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to my thread with him and feel like I’m playing him well. I just hope people don’t see him as flat. I’m pretty sensitive about my OCs. }}
